During my tenure at System1, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work on a wide range of products and initiatives. Diverse teams of project managers and developers often supported these efforts.
Info.com Brand Update & Expansion
Role: Product Designer, UI Designer
Deliverables: Brand Guide, Design System, Wireframe, Hi-Res Mocks, Prototype
Programs: Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator
One project for which I served as the principal product designer was the relaunch of Info.com. This premium authority domain had been neglected, but the concept of revamping the platform as a publishing and search information index was proposed. As part of the relaunch, it was necessary to enhance the brand and establish an editorial layout.
The process I followed for this project involved conducting a thorough review of the brand. This was followed by a brainstorming session during which I created a rough wireframe of the proposed upgrades. The final high-fidelity prototype was then developed based on this initial planning phase.
Total Browser – Onboarding Review
Role: UX Researcher, UI Design
Deliverables: UX Research, Data Analyst, UI Designer, Live Prototype
Programs: Usertesting.com, Figma, Hotjar, Google Slides
While working at System1, I also had the chance to contribute to the TotalBrowser project. Upon joining the team, the product was well underway and its stakeholders were striving to optimize the installation and onboarding process to ensure an optimum user experience.
I conducted a thorough review of the onboarding process using tools such as Usertesting.com and Hotjar to gain insights into how customers engaged with the installation process and onboarding experience.
Utilizing these insights, we implemented simple and effective UI changes to the process, maximizing the probability of a successful installation before releasing the product to market.
CouponFollow MapQuest Whitelabel
Role: Product Design, UI Design, Application Design,
Deliverables: Design System, Wireframe, Hi-Res Mocks, Prototype, Application UI
Following the acquisition of CouponFollow.com, stakeholders determined that combining the company’s product with MapQuest.com’s domain exposure would be a great fit for a whitelabel initiative. As one of the product designers on the project, I was responsible for the primary product page along with a conceptual UI showing the application’s backend functionality and layout.
Our application enabled coupon creators to easily create assets on any traditional publishing operating system. The dashboard was a modular system, designed to facilitate reusability for future whitelabel initiatives.
